THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS THE PROGRAM EFFORTS OF THE BURKE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY AND CULTURE.

THE BURKE MUSEUM ASSOCIATION RAISED $378,000 THROUGH THE ANNUAL FUND AND AN ADDITIONAL $351,000 THROUGH THE SPRING GALA. THESE FUNDS MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR THE BURKE MUSEUM TO DIVERSIFY ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT. DURING THE YEAR THE MUSEUM SERVED 36,000 SCHOOL CHILDREN AROUND THE STATE, RECEIVED OVER 81,000 ON-SITE VISITORS, AND PROVIDED CURATION RESOURCES FOR 16 MILLION OBJECTS. THE BMA ALSO PROVIDED PARTIAL SUPPORT FOR RESEARCH AND EXHIBITIONS AND MANAGED THE MUSEUM GIFT STORE.
