SUPPORT AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE IN NEED OF HELP IN THE HAWAII JEWISH COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE SOCIAL SERVICES.
JCS, THROUGH SMALL GRANTS WHICH ARE NOT INDIVIDUAL CLIENT HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE-SUPPORT FOCUSED, SUPPORTS AND FUNDS ACTIVITIES TO INCREASE ENGAGEMENT AND INVOLVEMENT OF MEMBERS OF JEWISH COMMUNITIES ACROSS HAWAII. THESE INCLUDE SUPPORT FOR JEWISH YOUTH ATTENDING SUMMER CAMP, SUPPORT TO A JEWISH CEMETERY IN HAWAII, AND SUPPORT FOR SOCIAL AND CELEBRATORY ACTIVITIES INVOLVING JEWISH YOUNG ADULTS, ADULTS, AND FAMILIES. JCS IN ADDITION SUPPORTS AND FUNDS A STATEWIDE CALENDAR OF RELEVANT EVENTS, A NEWSLETTER ABOUT RELEVANT ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS, AND AN INFRASTRUCTURE (WEBSITE AND STAFF WRITING AND COMPOSITION) IN FURTHERANCE OF NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE.
