ARGUS MANOR ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT WASHINGTON STATE CORPORATION FORMED ON JANUARY 24, 1989, THAT HOLDS LEGAL TITLE TO THE PROJECT. THE PROJECT IS A 61-UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX FOR LOW-INCOME ELDERLY AND PERSONS OF DISABILITY LOCATED IN PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON. THE PROJECT IS OPERATED UNDER THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND REGULATED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) WITH RESPECT TO RENTAL CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS. THE PROJECT'S MAJOR PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 223(F) HUD INSURED MORTGAGE LOAN. THE PROJECT'S NONMAJOR PROGRAM IS ITS SECTION 8 HUD RENT SUBSIDY.THE PROJECT ALSO IS SUBJECT TO SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT AGREEMENTS WITH HUD.
