COLUMBIA NON-PROFIT HOUSING IS THE SPONSORING ORGANIZATION FOR SEVERAL NON-PROFIT SINGLE ASSET ENTITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS DEVELOPED IN CLARK COUNTY UNDER THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT'S SECTION 202 AND 811 PROGRAMS.

ENGLUND MANOR - AN UNSUBSIDIZED 29-UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX BUILT IN 1989 FOR SENIORS AGED 55 AND ABOVE IN VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON. CASCADE TERRACE - TWO TRIPLEXES PROVIDING SHARED HOUSING TO CHRONICALLY MENTALLY ILL PERSONS AT A VERY AFFORDABLE RATE. TENANTS PAY OPERATING COSTS OF THE PROJECT ONLY. CONSTRUCTION GRANTS WERE PROVIDED BY THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY, TRADE, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND BY THE CLARK COUNTY HOME PROGRAM. FIRST HOME LOAN: A LOW-INCOME FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER PROGRAM WITH ASSISTANCE BEING PROVIDED TO THE HOMEBUYER IN THE FORM OF A SILENT SECOND MORTGAGE, REDUCING THEIR PAYMENT ON THE FIRST MORTGAGE, RESULTING IN AFFORDABLE HOME OWNERSHIP IN CLARK AND COWLITZ COUNTIES. THE PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY SEVERAL AGENCIES INCLUDING THE CITY OF VANCOUVER, THE CITY OF LONGVIEW, CLARK COUNTY, AND THE STATE OF WASHINGTON. DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS: CNPH INCURRED EXPENSES RELATING TO THE PRE- DEVELOPMENT STAGE OF ONE POTENTIAL NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS IN CLARK COUNTY.
