TO ADVANCE THE SCIENCE OF JURISPRUDENCE; TO ENCOURAGE THE ADOPTION OF PROPER LEGISLATION; TO ADVOCATE THOROUGH AND CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION; TO UPHOLD THE HONOR AND INTEGRITY FO THE BAR; TO CULTIVATE CORDIAL RELATIONS AMONG THE LAWYERS OF COLORADO; TO PERPETUATE THE HISTORY OF THE PROFESSION AND THE MEMORY OF ITS MEMBERS.

PUBLISH THE COLORADO LAWYER MAGAZINE: MONTHLY SCHOLARLY JOURNAL THAT PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH INFORMATION ON THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND LEGAL TOPICS.


TECHNOLOGY AND INTERNET; COMMUNICATIONS AND MEMBERSHIP; SECTIONS AND COMMITTEES: PROVIDE LEGAL INFORMATION, RESOURCES AND DISCUSSION FORUMS TO MEMBERS. FACILIATE COMMUNICATION AMONG MEMBERS AND OTHER LOCAL BAR ASSOCIATIONS AND SPECIALTY BAR ASSOCIATIONS.


FEDERAL PRO SE ASSISTANCE PROJECT: CLINIC TO ASSIST UNREPRESENTED LITIGANTS IN THE U.S. DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLORADO. THE CLINIC HELPS TO PREPARE COMPLAINTS AND RESPONSIVE PLEADINGS, PROVIDES ASSISTANCE WITH OTHER COMMON PLEADINGS, ANSWERS PROCEDURAL QUESTIONS, AND EXPLAINS LEGAL CONCEPTS SUCH AS JURISDICTION, VENUE, AND SERVICE OF PROCESS. THE FOCUS IS ON CIVIL PROCEDURE NAVIGATING THE COURT SYSTEM.


VARIOUS PROGRAMS: PROVIDE LEGAL EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO THE PUBLIC AND ENHANCE THE PUBLIC'S ACCESS TO JUSTICE. PROMOTE DIVERSITY WITHIN THE LEGAL COMMUNITY.
