RISE AND REBUILD FOUNDATION (RRF) IS A US 501(C)(3) CORPORATION THAT RAISES MONEY TO PROVIDE PROGRAM SERVICES IN THE PHILIPPINES AND PERU. RRF WHOLLY OWNS RISE AND REBUILD INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION, A PHILIPPINES CHARITABLE CORPORATION. THE FINANCIAL AND OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS FORM 990 AND ASSOCIATED SCHEDULES REPRESENTS A CONSOLIDATED PICTURE OF THE TWO ENTITIES. RRF DOES NOT HAVE AN ENTITY THROUGH WHICH IT PROVIDES PROGRAM SERVICES IN PERU. THE FOUNDATION FEEDS MALNOURISHED CHILDREN AND THE POOR THROUGH LARGE GARDEN PROJECTS, COMMUNITY GARDEN PROJECTS, AND FAMILY GARDENS. THIS PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FOUNDATION TO TRAIN UNSKILLED LABORS IN EMPLOYABLE SKILLS OF MASONRY, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, CONSTRUCTION, WELL DRILLING, AND GARDENING. GARDENS PROJECT ARE SUPPLEMENTED WITH ASSISTANCE FROM GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTIONS OF FOOD AND SUPPORT. 95% OF PROGRAM SERVICES ARE IN THE PHILIPPINES AND 5% IN PERU. NO PROGRAM SERVICES ARE PROVIDE IN THE UNITED STATES.

IN 2021 THE FOUNDATION OPERATED FOUR LARGE GARDENS GROWING MORE THAN 5 TONS OF FRESH VEGETABLES ON AVERAGE EVERY DAY FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE POOR AND HUNGRY. IN ADDITION TO VEGETABLES, OUR GARDENS HAVE CHICKENS, PIGS, RABBITS, FISH, AND FRUIT TREES ALL TO HELP THE NEEDY. IN 2021 THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FOOD TO SERVED OVER 3.5 MILLION MEALS. DURING 2021 THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED GARDENING SKILL TRAINING AND EMPLOYED TO OVER 400 EMPLOYEES OF THE IN THE PHILIPPINES.


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


THE FOUNDATION COOPERATES WITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO BUILD AND OPERATE NUTRITION CENTERS AT SCHOOLS. THE FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTS THE BUILDINGS WITH BLOCKS MADE BY THE FOUNDATION, AND FULLY STOCKS THE CENTERS WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS WE MANUFACTURE, AND WE PROVIDE ALL NEEDED COOKING EQUIPMENT, DISHES AND UTENSILS. THE PTA AND PARENTS COOK THE VEGETABLES AND MEATS THAT THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES DAILY ALONG WITH RICE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT. THE FOUNDATION HAS BUILT AND OPERATES OVER 100 NUTRITION CENTERS FEEDING 50 TO 200 STUDENTS IN EACH NUTRITION CENTER EACH SCHOOL DAY. SINCE SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC FOR PART OF THE YEAR, THE FOUNDATION HAS USED THE NUTRITION CENTERS TO COOK AND DELIVER FOOD FOR THOUSANDS OF NEEDY FAMILIES IN EACH AREA. WHEN PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED, THE NUTRITION CENTERS WILL RETURN TO THEIR ORIGINALLY DESIGNED PURPOSES AND OPERATIONS.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED TYPHOON RELIEF AND MADE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO OTHER CHARITIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES ($73,671). THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR A SCHOOL IN PERU ($48,475). THE FOUNDATION IS CONSTRUCTING APARTMENTS FOR MISSIONARIES IN THE PHILIPPINES ($28,752).
