HEAD START AND RELATED PROGRAMS ARE FEDERAL PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND NUTRITIONAL FOOD TO ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.


ENERGY ASSISTANCE IS A FEDERAL PROGRAM DESIGNED TO ASSIST ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH THEIR DOMESTIC ENERGY NEEDS.


THE COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT IS A FEDERAL PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO A NETWORK OF COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS FOR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO AMELIORATE THE CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES OF POVERTY AND TO REVITALIZE LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIES.
