RE-VOLV IS A CLIMATE JUSTICE NONPROFIT THAT HELPS COMMUNITY-SERVING NONPROFITS ACROSS THE COUNTRY GO SOLAR, WHILE RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF SOLAR POWER, AND TRAINING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CLEAN ENERGY LEADERS AT UNIVERSITITES AN COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY.

IN 2021, RE-VOLV FINANCED 6 NEW SOLAR PROJECTS FOR NONPROFITS IN CA, NY, SC OH & WA FOR A TOTAL 48 SOLAR PROJECTS FINANCED TO DATE. COLLECTIVELY, THESE NONPROFITS SERVE OVER 6000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH CRITICAL SERVICES RANGING FROM YOUTH TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING, FEEDING THE HUNGRY, PROVERTY & HOMELESSNESS, AND NATURE PRESERVATION. OVER THE LIFE OF THESE SOLAR SYSTEMS, THE NONPROFITS WILL COLLECTIVELY AVOID EMITTING 15,500 TONS OF C02 AND SAVE OVER $2 MILLION ON THEIR ELECTRIC BILLS, FUNDS THEY CAN USE TO BETTER SERVE THEIR COMMUNITITES. RE-VOLV ADDITIONALLY TRAINED AND COACHED 93 VOLUNTEER SOLAR AMBASSADORS, WHO EDUCATED THEIR COMMUNITY ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF SOLAR ENERGY AND INSPRIED THEM TO TAKE ACTION WITH THESE PROJECTS. TO DATE, RE-VOLV HAS DEVELOPED 1.98 MW OF SOLAR FOR 41 NONPROFITS IN 12 STATES.
