TO BUILD INTO NEIGHBORS AND PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH MENTORING, UPGRADING OF PROPERTY, PROVIDING ASSISTANCE, AND TELLING THEM ABOUT JESUS.

WE PURCHASED TWO HOMES WHICH ARE BEING REHABBED, ONE OF WHICH WILL BE USE TO HOUSE TEEN BOYS PLUS STAFF. WE ACQUIRED A VACANT LOT WHICH WILL HAVE A FLOWER GARDEN AND POTENTIALLY A COMMUNITY GARDEN. THE MINISTRY HAS ASSISTED NEIGHBORS WITH PROBLEM SOLVING, FOOD ACQUISITION, AND MENTORING/TUTORING. THERE HAVE BEEN NEIGHBORHOOD ACTIVITIES SUCH AS WATER FUN DAY FOR THE KIDS AND GRILL NIGHT FOR THE ADULTS.
MENTORING STUDENTS BY HAVING THEM WORK ONE ON ONE WITH COACHES. THIS IS DONE WEEKLY THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.
PAYING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD TO SWIM FREE AT THE LOCAL CITY POOL. THERE IS NORMALLY A DAILY CHARGE FOR PEOPLE TO USE THE POOL.
