EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS FOR THE TWO PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF:1.HOW THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY (SCV) IS GOVERNED. 2.THE SGV'S STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES, AND EDUCATIONAL AND BUSINESS LANDSCAPES. 3.THE SGV'S SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL RESIDENTS AND THE NON-PROFIT CULTURE. THE SESSIONS PROVIDE EXECUTIVE-LEVEL LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO INCREASE THE LEADERSHIP ABILITIES OF PARTICIPANTS TO BETTER LEAD COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, GOVERNMENTS, AND BUSINESSES. THE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (LP) IS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF VETERANS BY RE-MISSIONING THEIR MILITARY WISDOM TO LEAD AND SERVE THE COMMUNITY THROUGH MUTUAL EMPOWERMENT.
