ACTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 2002 AND STARTED BY THE SENIOR PASTOR OF ACTS FULL GOSPEL CHURCH, BISHOP BOB JACKSON. ACTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT'S MISSION IS TO FULFILL THE NEED TO IMPROVE NEIGHBORHOODS AND TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO THE RESIDENTS OF OAKLAND.THROUGH A PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN RELATED CALIFORNIA, ACTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, THE CITY OF OAKLAND AND THE OAKLAND HOUSING AUTHORITY, ACTS CYRENE APARTMENTS WAS COMPLETED IN 2017. IN 2018 ACDC LEASED ALL 59 UNITS AND HIRED STAFF WHICH INCLUDES AN OFFICE MANAGER, A MAINTENANCE MANAGER AND RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR, TO SERVICE THE RESIDENTS OF ACTS CYRENE APARTMENTS. THE RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR PROVIDES SERVICES THAT INCLUDE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING AND CULTURAL AND PERSONAL ENRICHMENT. THE ACTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND RELATED CALIFORNIA PARTNERSHIP IS NOW IN THE DEVELOPMENT STAGE OF BUILDING ANOTHER MULTI-USE, AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLEX LOCATED ON 95TH AND INTERNATIONAL, ACROSS THE STREET FROM ACTS CYRENE APARTMENTS. AS WELL, ACTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IS HANDLING MANY OF THE PROPERTIES OWNED BY ACTS FULL GOSPEL CHURCH AND ACDC, THAT INCLUDES MANAGING THE MAINTENANCE AND THE LEASING OF THOSE PROPERTIES.
