TO CREATE A MUSEUM HONORING ALASKA'S VETERANS AND PRESERVING THEIR MEMORIES AND THEIR SACRIFICES IN DEFENSE OF AMERICA'S FREEDOM TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT MILITARY, PERSONS OPERATIONS AND SACRIFICES MADE, BY THE COLLECTION, RESEARCH, PRESERVATION AND EXHIBITION OF ARTIFACTS, PERSONAL ACCOUNTS AND HISTORICAL FACTS RELATING TO AMERICAN DEFENSE OF FREEDOM THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. TO SUPPORT ACTIVE DUTY SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN, RESERVE, GUARD AND VETERANS. TO PROMOTE ANY ACTIVITIES THAT ENHANCE OR SUPPORT THE PURPOSE OF THE MUSEUM. TO DIRECT ALL MUSEUM OPERATIONS, IMPROVEMENTS, FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES AND TO HOLD IN TRUST ALL FUNDS DESIGNATED FOR THE MUSEUM AND ITS OPERATIONS.
