PROVIDE FUNDING SUPPORT FOR HUMANE EDUCATION PROGRAMS THROUGH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL, AND TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT AND HELP MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO BENEFIT SHELTER ANIMALS AND PROVIDE FOR THEIR CARE, COMFORT AND ADOPTION.

SUPPORT THE GENERAL ACTIVITIES OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL, INCLUDING SUBSIDIES TO HELP REDUCE THE ANIMAL ADOPTION FEES SO THAT MORE ANIMALS CAN BE ADOPTED FROM THE VARIOUS ANIMAL SHELTERS, AND TO HELP LOST ANIMALS BE RETURNED TO THEIR OWNERS.
SUBSIDIES TO PERPETUATE THE SAFE AND HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, INCLUDING VETERINARIAN EXPENSES, GROOMING EXPENSES, HORSE EXPENSES AND OTHER ITEMS.
