ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF HEMACINTO IS A CHAPTER OF A NATIONAL NONPROFIT VOLUNTEER ORGANZATION THAT TRANSFORMS THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS THROUGH COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.

OPERATION SCHOOL BELL PROVIDES UNDER-PRIVILEDGED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE HEMET AND SAN JACINTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTS WITH NEW CLOTHING. THE CLOTHING NOT ONLY PROVIDES FOR THE PHYSICAL NEEDS OF THE CHILDREN, BUT ALSO PROVIDES INCREASED SELF-ESTEEM AND ENCOURAGES REGULAR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE. MORE THAN 522 CHILDREN RECEIVED BENEFITS FROM THE PROGRAM THIS YEAR AND MORE THAN 30,330 HAVE BENEFITED SINCE THE PROGRAM BEGAN IN 1976.


PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO THIRTEEN STUDENTS ATTENDING POST SECONDARY EDUCATION.


PROVIDED HYGIENE SUPPLIES FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE AGE SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE HEMET AND SAN JACINTO SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO HELP EDUCATE THE CHILDREN ON THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER HYGIENE.
