PROGRESS UNITY FUND HAS PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, SEMINARS, AND PUBLIC FORUMS ON THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF CONFLICTS AROUND THE WORLD AND EXPLORATION OF PEACEFUL ALTERNATIVES TO WAR AND MILITARISM.

AS THE WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC CONTINUED INTO 2022 SO DID THE ZOOM WORLD AS REFLECTED IN MUCH OF OUR WORK. THE PROGRESS UNITY FUND RESPONDED BY SUPPORTING PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES THROUGH GREATER ACCESS TO ONLINE TOOLS AND EDUCATION FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS AND ACTIVISTS. AS PART OF THIS EFFORT, THE PROGRESS UNITY FUND SUPPORTED BREAK THROUGH MEDIA, A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT FEATURES AN ONLINE PLATFORM FOR EXPERT ANALYSIS FROM ACADEMICS, JOURNALISTS AND LEADERS FROM THE SOCIAL JUSTICE AND PEACE MOVEMENTS. THESE PRESENTATIONS REACH AN AUDIENCE OF TENS OF THOUSANDS EACH WEEK.THROUGH ITS SPONSORED ORGANIZATIONS, PROGRESS UNITY FUND ENGAGED IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS ABOUT DEVELOPMENTS IN U.S. POLICY TOWARDS THE MIDDLE EAST, ASIA, AFRICA AND LATIN AMERICA. AS NEW ONLINE RESOURCES EMERGED IN THE NONPROFIT AND PROGRESSIVE COMMUNITIES, PROGRESS UNITY FUND CONTRIBUTED TO AND SUPPORTED THEM. THE PEOPLES SUMMIT IN JUNE 2022 BROUGHT TOGETHER OVER 3000 ATTENDEES FROM 15 COUNTRIES AND OPENED UP SPACE FOR SHARED DIALOGUE, UNITY AND COLLABORATION BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONS AND MOVEMENTS THROUGHOUT LATIN AMERICA.PROGRESS UNITY FUND CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE PIVOT TO PEACE PROJECT, AN EFFORT TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF A POLICY THAT FACILITATES COOPERATION AND MUTUAL RESPECT BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND CHINA.
