THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THIS ORGANIZATION ARE TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN AN ANIMAL SHELTER; TO AID IN THE RESCUE AND REHABILITATION OF ABUSED, ABANDONED AND LOST ANIMALS (PRIMARILY DOMESTIC DOGS AND CATS); TO HELP REDUCE OVER POPULATION; TO PROVIDE HUMANE CARE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT IN THE BAKER COUNTY AREA; TO FACILITATE RETURN OF LOST ANIMALS TO THEIR HOMES; UNCLAIMED ANIMALS TO SUITABLE HOMES; AND AS A LAST RESORT TO PROVIDE EUTHANASIA AS A MEANS TO AN END AN ANIMAL'S SUFFERING OR PROLAONGED INABILITY TO FIND PLACEMENT AFTER MANY MONTHS OF EFFORT AS DETERMINED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS.
