THE SACRAMENTO BALLET ENTERTAINS, EDUCATES, INSPIRES, AND ENGAGES PEOPLE THROUGH THE POWERFUL VEHICLE OF DANCE.

THE SACRAMENTO BALLET PREFORMED A RANGE OF CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY WORKS CHOREOGRAPHED BY MASTERS AND EMERGING ARTISTS DURING ITS 62ND SEASON IN 2017/2018. THE SACRAMENTO BALLET PRESENTS A MINIMUM OF FOUR PRODUCTIONS, WITH A MINIMUM OF 30 PERFORMANCES, AND REACHES AN AUDIENCE OF APPROXIMATELY 60,000. THE SACRAMENTO BALLET IS WIDELY LAUDED IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO REGION FOR THE SCOPE AND IMPACT OF ITS VARIOUS OUTREACH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS. THE SACRAMENTO BALLET GIVES SPECIAL PRIORITY TO CHILDREN-AT-RISK, THE UNDER-SERVED AND THOSE WHO MIGHT NEVER HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTY AND MAGIC OF DANCE. IN ADDITION, VARIOUS PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED AT SCHOOL SITES, FREE OF CHARGE. THE COMBINATION OF OUTREACH PROGRAMS SERVES OVER 20,000 PARTICIPANTS ANNUALLY. THE SACRAMENTO BALLET'S OUTREACH PROGRAMS HAVE SERVED SCHOOL CHILDREN IN SACRAMETNO, PLACER, YOLO, SUTTER, EL DORADO, COLUSA, CALAVERAS AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES.
