OREGON BALLET THEATRE IS AN OREGON NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED AS THE ONLY FULL-TIME OPERATING BALLET COMPANY IN THE PORTLAND METROPOLITAN REGION. THE BALLET COMPANY PERFORMS AN ANNUAL SEASON OF FOUR PROGRAMS AND ALSO CONDUCTS REGIONAL AND NATIONAL TOURS. THROUGH ITS MANY PROGRAMS, OBT'S CONTINUING GOAL IS TO PROVIDE ITS CONSTITUENCY WITH PERFORMANCES, EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER.

PRODUCTIONS - ANNUAL PRESENTATIONS OF THE RESIDENT PROFESSIONAL BALLET COMPANY AND GUEST ARTISTS IN A SERIES OF SUBSCRIPTION AND SINGLE TICKET PERFORMANCES.


SCHOOL - PROFESSIONAL TRAINING FOR DANCERS INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN BALLET AND DANCE INSTRUCTION FOR INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES. THE SCHOOL ALSO SERVES AS A TRAINING GROUND FOR DANCERS ENTERING THE BALLET COMPANY.


EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH - PARTICIPATION IN THE YOUNG AUDIENCES AND OTHER PROGRAMS THROUGH PRESENTATION OF DANCE PERFORMANCES AND EDUCATION IN DANCE FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN.
