OUR K-8 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM SERVES APPROXIMATELY 425 GIRLS AND AIMS TO DEVELOP THE INTELLECT, CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP OF EACH GIRL TO THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL BY PROVIDING OUTSTANDING EDUCATIONAL CURRICULA INCLUDING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO APPROXIMATELY TWENTY PERCENT OF THE STUDENT BODY.
HAMLIN'S AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS A COMMUNITY WITHIN THE SCHOOL FOR GIRLS ACROSS GRADE LEVELS K-8 AND SERVES APPROXIMATELY 125 STUDENTS. THE PROGRAM EMPHASIS IS ON POSITIVE PLAY AND CREATIVE PROJECTS. WE OFFER A BALANCE OF STRUCTURED AND INDEPENDENT ACTIVITIES AND PRIDE OURSELVES ON CREATING A WARM AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE STUDENTS. SOME EXTENDED DAY CLASS OFFERINGS ARE CLIMBING WALL, DANCING, COOKING, ROBOTICS, AND SEWING.
THE HAMLIN MUSIC ACADEMY IS AN OFFERING OF AFTER SCHOOL INSTRUMENT LESSONS WHICH SERVES APPROXIMATELY 85 STUDENTS. STUDENTS MAY REGISTER FOR INDIVIDUAL 30 OR 60-MINUTE LESSONS IN FLUTE, GUITAR, VIOLIN, OR PIANO.
HAMLIN'S HOLIDAY AND SUMMER CAMPS PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 100 STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN EXTENDED OVERNIGHT TRIPS OR EXPLORE THE CITY ON DAY FIELD TRIPS. SOME MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPERS TOOK SUMMER TRIPS TO LAKE TAHOE AND ASHLAND.
