OUR K-8 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM SERVES APPROXIMATELY 430 GIRLS AND AIMS TO DEVELOP THE INTELLECT, CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP OF EACH GIRL TO THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL BY PROVIDING OUTSTANDING EDUCATIONAL CURRICULA INCLUDING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO APPROXIMATELY TWENTY PERCENT OF THE STUDENT BODY.
HAMLIN'S AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS A COMMUNITY WITHIN THE SCHOOL FOR GIRLS ACROSS GRADES K-8. SERVING APPROXIMATELY 125 STUDENTS, THE PROGRAM EMPHASIZES FREE CHOICE PLAY, CREATIVE PROJECTS, AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING. WE OFFER A BALANCE OF INDEPENDENT AND STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES IN A WARM AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. OUR AFTER SCHOOL ACADEMY OFFERS ELECTIVE AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES LIKE ROCK CLIMBING, GRAPHIC DESIGN, COOKING AND PHOTOGRAPHY.
THE HAMLIN MUSIC ACADEMY OFFERS 1:1 MUSIC LESSONS AFTER SCHOOL. MORE THAN 60 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN 30-60 MINUTE LESSONS IN GUITAR, VIOLIN AND PIANO.
HAMLIN'S SCHOOL BREAK AND SUMMER CAMPS OFFER CHILDCARE AND ENRICHMENT TO OVER 150 STUDENTS WHEN SCHOOL IS NOT IN SESSION. OUR SUMMER CAMPS INCLUDE TRADITIONAL DAY CAMPS, SPECIALTY CAMPS AND A LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS.
