THE WALNUT CREEK CHAMBER: HAS SPONSORED THE ANNUAL ART & WINE FESTIVAL SINCE 1981; HAS SPONSORED SYMPOSIUMS ON INTERNET SECURITY, TECHNOLOGY, TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT, ECONOMIC FORECASTING, HEALTH CARE, AGING AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE; HAS EXPANDED THE BUSINESS EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM WITH WALNUT CREEK SCHOOLS, CAREER DAY, AND TEACHER APPRECIATION RECEPTIONS; CONDUCTS ANNUAL TECH FAIRS; ADMINISTERS AN AMBASSADOR PROGRAM; HAS GRADUATED MORE THAN 700 COMMUNITY LEADERS FROM THE LEADERSHIP CONTRA COSTA PROGRAM; HOLDS REGULAR MEETINGS WITH LOCAL CANDIDATES, POLITICIANS, AND BUSINESS LEADERS TO BETTER EDUCATE AND INFORM ITS MEMBERS.
