TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS THROUGH COLLECTING, PRESERVING, AND INTERPRETING THE HISTORY AND CULTURE OF CLACKAMAS COUNTY. THE MUSEUMS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND STRIVE TO EDUCATE AND PRESERVE THE LEGACY OF CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OREGON.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PRESERVATION OF THE MUSEUM OF THE OREGON TERRITORY AND THE STEVENS CRAWFORD HERITAGE HOUSE AND THEIR ARTIFACTS. MUSEUM OF THE OREGON TERRITORY IS OPEN 4 DAYS PER WEEK AND THE STEVENS CRAWFORD HOUSE IS OPEN 2 DAYS A WEEK. WE INSTALLED THE EXHIBIT GRADE SCHOOL TO GRADUATION: 100 YEARS OF EDUCATION IN CLACKAMAS COUNTY. THE EXHIBIT LOOKS AT HOW EDUCATION HAS CHANGED IN CLACKAMAS COUNTY FROM LOG CABIN SCHOOLHOUSES TO PRESENT-DAY SCHOOL DISTRICTS. WE UPDATED OUR MAIN EXHIBIT GALLERY INDUSTRY HALL WITH EXHIBITS THAT COVERED THE INDUSTRIES OF WILLAMETTE FALLS, SUCH AS LOGGING, MINING, AND PAPER PRODUCTION.
