THE STRICKLAND GLOBAL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (SGLI) WAS FOUNDED TO EXTEND BILL STRICKLAND'S VISION FOR THE ALLEVIATION OF HUMAN SUFFERING THROUGH SUPPORTING THE EXISTING NETWORK OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING & CULTURAL ENRICHMENT CENTERS ANIMATED BY HIS VISION, FACILITATING THE CREATION OF NEW CENTERS, AND TRAINING & MENTORING INDIVIDUALS IN CENTER LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT, AND ADMINISTRATION.

SGLI VISITED AND/OR MADE REMOTE CONTACT WITH MORE THAN 10 OF THE CENTERS ANIMATED BY BILL STRICKLAND'S VISION. DURING ITS INTERACTIONS WITH THE CENTERS, SGLI PERSONNEL COMMUNICATED PRELIMINARY IDEAS ABOUT HOW SGLI COULD BEST SERVE THE CENTERS AND GATHERED FEEDBACK ON THOSE PRELIMINARY IDEAS.
IN 2023, SGLI MADE TWO VISITS TO BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND TO AID IN ITS FACILITATION OF A VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND CULTURAL ENRICHMENT CENTER IN BELFAST. SGLI ALSO COMMUNICATED WITH OTHER COMMUNITIES INTERESTED IN COLLABORATING ON THE CREATION OF NEW CENTERS, INCLUDING COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN FT. MYERS, FLORIDA.
SGLI BEGAN DISCUSSIONS WITH EDUCATORS AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS WELL-VERSED IN TRAINING ABOUT HOW TO DESIGN ITS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM OFFERINGS. SGLI BEGAN PUTTING TOGETHER AN OUTLINE OF ITS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM.
