THE CHAMBER PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT THE LOCAL AREA TO THOUSANDS OF VISITORS AND BUSINESSES EACH YEAR. IT ALSO FACILITATES CIVIC PROJECTS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITIES OF ASTORIA & WARRENTON AND THE COMMUNITIES OF THE LOWER COLUMBIA REGION.


FOR THE ANNUAL CRAB FESTIVAL, THE CHAMBER ORGANIZES AND ADVERTISES THE LOCAL EVENT AND PROVIDES BOOTHES FOR FOOD, BEVERAGE, AND CRAFT VENDORS. THE EVENT GENERALLY COVERS 3 DAYS AND DRAWS THOUSANDS OF TOURISTS TO THE ASTORIA AREA.


THE GREAT COLUMBIA CROSSING IS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT ENCOURAGES PARTICIPANTS TO RUN OR WALK THE MEGLER BRIDGE THAT SPANS THE COLUMBIA RIVER FROM ASTORIA INTO WASHINGTON.
