FAMILY SERVICES OF GRANT COUNTY PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN GRANT COUNTY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

HEAD START/EARLY HEAD START PROVIDES PRESCHOOL, TODDLER, AND INFANT EDUCATION SERVICES FOR 231 (126 HEAD START; 105 EARLY HEAD START) AT RISK CHILDREN. WE ALSO OFFER CHILD DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH, NUTRITION, SAFETY, AND PARENTING EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO THEIR FAMILIES IN GRANT COUNTY TO SUPPORT ENROLLED CHILDREN'S SUCCESS IN KINDERGARTEN AND LIFE.


EARLY HEAD START/CHILDCARE - CLASSROOMS WITH INFANTS AND TODDLERS, AND PRESCHOOL CLASSROOMS THAT LAST MORE THAN 4 HOURS PER DAY ARE CHILDCARE LICENSED BY THE STATE OF WASHINGTON. CHILDCARE COSTS ARE SUPPORTED IN PART BY WORKING CONNECTIONS AND FOSTER CARE.


USDA IS A FEDERAL PROGRAM TO PROVIDE HEALTHY MEALS TO LOW INCOME CHILDREN. THE INCOME LEVEL GUIDELINES FOR HEAD START AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFIES ALL ENROLLED CHILDREN FOR THE USDA FEE RATE.
