Part 3 - Line 4a

SPACE BETWEEN TAUGHT MINDFULNESS TO STUDENTS, TEENS, EDUCATORS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS. DURING THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR, WE WERE BACK IN PERSON FOR WEEKLY, SEMESTER LONG IN-CLASSROOM PROGRAMMING WITH STUDENTS. WE ALSO TAUGHT BOTH VIRTUAL LIVE AND IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS FOR EDUCATORS AND FAMILIES, AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SUSTAINABLE PROGRAMMING FOR TEENS, TEACHERS, AND PARENTS/GUARDIANS. WE SERVED ABOUT 1700 CHILDREN AND TEENS, MORE THAN 900 EDUCATORS, AND MORE THAN 700 PARENTS/GUARDIANS. OUR IMPACT IS ACKNOWLEDGED BY PEOPLE IN OUR ANONYMOUS SURVEYS: 98% OF STUDENTS INDICATED ONE OR MORE MINDFULNESS PRACTICES THAT THEY FIND HELPFUL. 88% OF STUDENTS INDICATED THAT MINDFULNESS IS HELPFUL FOR BIG FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS. 94% OF STUDENTS NOTICE POSITIVE DIFFERENCES SINCE LEARNING MINDFULNESS (I.E. MORE FOCUSED, CALMER, LESS WORRIED, HAPPIER, LESS ANGRY, LESS SAD, KINDER). 97% WOULD LIKE SPACE BETWEEN IN THEIR CLASSROOMS AGAIN. 97% SAW IMPROVEMENT IN STUDENT'S ABILITY TO REGULATE THEIR EMOTIONS. 86% SAW AN INCREASE IN ATTENTION/FOCUS. 92% SAW AN IMPROVEMENT IN STUDENT WELL-BEING. CLASSROOMS PRACTICED MINDFULNESS AN AVERAGE OF 5.1 TIMES PER WEEK, OUTSIDE OF SPACE BETWEEN TIME. "I COULD NOT ASK FOR BETTER. TALK ABOUT REAL AND AUTHENTIC... LOVED THIS MORE THAN I KNEW I WOULD. GOOD JOB. QUALITY TEACHING. IT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING I CAN USE TOMORROW AND IT MEANS SOMETHING. " - TEACHER "MINDFULNESS IS BEING CALM AND FEELING LOVE." - KINDERGARTENER "HELPS ME CLEAR MY MIND ON ALL THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON IN LIFE, I LOVE MINDFULNESS!" - 5TH GRADER
