CHOIR EDUCATION PROGRAM:PERFORMANCE-BASED MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM DEDICATED TO DEVELOPING MUSICIANSHIP AND SELF-CONFIDENCE FOR GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN AGES 7-18. DURING THE PANDEMIC WE ADAPTED OUR REHEARSALS TO REMOTE LEARNING AND SINGING BY ZOOM, THEN ADDED HAND CHIME CLASSES TO CONTINUE CONNECTING IN-PERSON. PARTICIPATION SHIFTED DURING COVID FROM 270 TO 170 CHORISTERS, AND WE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED OUR 1ST AND 2ND GRADE CHOIR. OUR GOAL IS TO REINSTATE IN-PERSON SINGING AND 1ST THROUGH 12TH GRADE ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2021-22 SEASON.

CONCERT SERIES:PRODUCE MULTIPLE CHORAL PERFORMANCES ANNUALLY, INCLUDING MAIN STAGE CONCERTS AROUND GREATER SEATTLE AND VIRTUAL PERFORMANCES MADE AVAILABLE AROUND THE COUNTRY. FIVE YOUTH CHOIRS PERFORM WITH PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTORS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS, AS WELL AS ALUMS AND GUEST ARTISTS. CHORISTERS SHARE IN-PERSON AND ONLINE CONCERTS WITH SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GROUPS, AND RETIREMENT HOMES. FOR THE 2021-22 SEASON WE PLAN TO RETURN TO A FULL YEAR OF IN-PERSON CONCERTS.
