HEALTH RESTORATION INTERNATIONAL, LTD HAS SPONSORED MURRAY METHOD TRAINING IN THE FORMER USSR SINCE 2004 WITH ITS PRESIDENT, MARILYN MURRAY LIVING NEARLY HALF-TIME IN RUSSIA. SHE HAS PROVIDED EDUCATION FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS, SOCIAL WORKERS, CLERGY, UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS, IN TECHNIQUES AND METHODOLOGIES OF TREATING PERSONS FROM TRAUMATIC, ABUSIVE AND DYSFUNCTIONAL BACKGROUNDS. ADDITIONAL COURSES HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED TO TRAIN QUALIFIED PARTICIPANTS IN BECOMING INSTRUCTORS IN THE TECHNIQUES OF PROVIDING THIS EDUCATION AND TRAINING. THESE MURRAY METHOD CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS NOW HAVE TAKEN THIS KNOWLEDGE AND HAVE PROPAGATED IT THROUGHOUT RUSSIA, UKRAINE, AND CENTRAL ASIA. WITH THE ADVENT OF THE RUSSIAN INVASION OF UKRAINE, IT WAS NOT LONGER FEASIBLE FOR MURRAY TO CONTINUE THE WORK IN RUSSIA AND THIS RESPONSIBILITY NOW HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO LOCAL INSTRUCTORS. MURRAY TRAVELED TO CENTRAL ASIA IN 2022 TO TRAIN AND SUPERVISE INSTRUCTORS THERE.IN ADDITION, HEALTH RESTORATION INTERNATIONAL, LTD. HAS PROVIDED FUNDING TO THE MURRAY METHOD CENTER IN POLTAVA, UKRAINE REGARDING ASSISTANCE FOR WAR REFUGEES. THE CENTER STAFF HAS DRIVEN BUSES TO THE FRONT LINES AND HAS RESCUED A MULTITUDE OF PERSONS FROM BASEMENTS AND BOMB SHELTERS AND CONTINUE TO DO SO. FOOD, CLOTHING AND NECESSITIES IS BEING PROVIDED TO THESE REFUGEES. THE STAFF ALSO IS TAKING VANS FILLED WITH FOOD, WATER, MEDICINE AND OTHER NECESSITIES TO MANY VILLAGES NEAR THE FRONT LINE WHO HAVE SUFFERED GREATLY FROM MILITARY INVASION AND BOMBARDMENT. THE MURRAY METHOD CENTER STAFF ALSO HAS PROVIDED FREE COUNSELING FOR WAR REFUGEES SINCE THE START OF THE INVASION. A THREE-STORY HOUSE IN THE COUNTRY NEAR POLTAVA HAS BEEN RENTED TO BEGIN FREE INPATIENT CARE FOR WAR VICTIMS SUFFERING FROM PTSD. HEALTH RESTORATION INTERNATIONAL, LTD. ALSO IS PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE RENOVATION OF THIS BUILDING AND TO PROVIDE STAFF FUNDING.
