THE FRAHEC IS AN INCLUSIVE ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO BUILDING REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAMS, HEALTHCARE WORKFORCES, AND COLLABORATIONS, IN ORDER TO PROMOTE GOOD HEALTH AND WELLNESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDER-RESOURCED PEOPLE THROUGHOUT OUR REGION.

COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER PROGRAM. EMPLOYED COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS TO PROVIDE OUTREACH AND EDUCATION ABOUT THE COVID-19 VACCINE TO UNDERSERVED AND UNDER-VACCINATED COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT COLORADO.
AREA HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER PROGRAMMING AS DEFINED BY THE CONGRESS AND THE HRSA. INCLUDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS (SUCH AS AHEC SCHOLARS), PIPELINE PROGRAMMING (INCLUDING A HIGH SCHOOL HEALTHCARE EXPLORATION PROGRAM AND SUMMER CAMP) AIMED AT INCREASING THE DIVERSITY OF THE HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE, HEALTHCARE PRACTICE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMMING, AND SO ON.
PROVIDED HOUSING, VIA HOST HOMES, FOR HEALTHCARE STUDENTS ON AWAY-FROM-HOME ROTATIONS, IN HOPES OF INCREASING THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE INTO UNDERSERVED AREAS.
