THE MISSION OF BOTH SIDES OF THE CONVERSATION IS TO INCREASE MOBILIZATION OF ADVANCEMENT IN BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING A SAFE SPACE FOR CONSCIOUS DIALOGUE CONCERNING THE NEEDS, SYSTEMIC BARRIERS, RESOURCE AND REMEDIES. BOTH SIDES OF THE CONVERSATION ENVISIONS A WORLD WHERE BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES THRIVE IN LOVE, HEALTH, EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES THROUGH OPEN EMPOWERING DIALOGUE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

NARRATIVE SHIFT - THE MEDIA ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM IS A PLATFORM DEDICATED TO AMPLIFYING THE VOICES AND NARRATIVES OF BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES. THE PROGRAM OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR CREATIVE EXPRESSION, MEDIA PRODUCTION, AND STORYTELLING THROUGH VARIOUS MEDIUMS. THE PROGRAM AIMS TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS TO SHARE THEIR STORIES, CHALLENGE STEREOTYPES, AND SHAPE THE NARRATIVE AROUND THEIR COMMUNITIES. IT PROMOTES REPRESENTATION, DIVERSITY, AND INCLUSIVITY IN MEDIA, FOSTERING A MORE EQUITABLE AND AUTHENTIC PORTRAYAL OF BLACK AND BROWN EXPERIENCES. THE GOAL IS TO REDEFINE MEDIA LANDSCAPES AND EMPOWER UNDERREPRESENTED VOICES TO BE HEARD AND CELEBRATED.


THE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO EMPOWERING AND STRENGTHENING BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES. IT STRIVES TO CREATE MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS AND FOSTER POSITIVE CHANGE BY ENGAGING INDIVIDUALS IN VARIOUS COMMUNITY INITIATIVES AND PROJECTS. THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS, THE PROGRAM AIMS TO ADDRESS SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISPARITIES, PROMOTE CULTURAL ENRICHMENT, AND ADVOCATE FOR EQUITABLE OPPORTUNITIES.


THE YOUTH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY TO EMPOWER AND UPLIFT THE BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES. THE PROGRAM CONNECTS YOUNG INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTORS WHO SHARE SIMILAR BACKGROUNDS AND EXPERIENCES, PROVIDING A SAFE AND INCLUSIVE SPACE FOR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT. THROUGH MENTORSHIP, THE PROGRAM AIMS TO FOSTER SELF-CONFIDENCE, ACADEMIC SUCCESS, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS; WHILE ALSO ADDRESSING THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES FACED BY OUR PARTICIPANTS.
