WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS: TWO WORKSHOPS AND THREE DEMONSTRATIONS LED BY PROFESSIONAL PASTEL ARTISTS WERE OFFERED AND ATTENDED BY BOTH MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS OF PSWNY INC. EACH WORKSHOP WAS ATTENDED BY 16 PARTICIPANTS WHERE BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP SUPPORT WAS PROVIDED BY THE PRESENTERS. EACH DEMONSTRATION WAS ATTENDED BY 30 PARTICIPANTS THAT INCLUDED BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS OF PSWNY INC. TWO JURIED AND ONE NON-JURIED EXHIBIT WAS HELD INVOLVING OUR 49 MEMBERS. THE 2ND ANNUAL PLEIN AIR EXPO BROUGHT IN 4 PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS AND 64 PARTICIPANTS IN OUR EFFORT TO PROMOTE A MOVEMENT TO EDUCATE AND IMPROVE THE SKILLS OF ARTISTS THAT ARE MEMBERS OF ART ORGANIZATIONS IN ROCHESTER, SYRACUSE, AND BUFFALO NEW YORK. FEES WERE MINIMAL TO ALLOW FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN THIS MOVEMENT TO ATTEND. THE PROFIT WAS EQUAL TO THE AMOUNT NEEDED TO REFUND 70% OF OUR SPONSORS INITIAL DONATIONS.
