DANCE & MUSIC PROGRAM - BEGINNER THROUGH ADVANCED LEVEL STUDENTS AGES 3 TO ADULT STUDY MODERN/JAZZ, TAP, BALLET, HIP-HOP, AFRICAN DANCE FORMS AND MUSICAL THEATER TRAINING IN ADDITION TO PRIVATE OR GROUP LESSONS IN VARIOUS INSTRUMENTS CHILDREN, TEENS, AND ADULTS COME TO MIND-BUILDERS FROM THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOOD AND BOROUGH, AND IN SOME INSTANCES FROM BOROUGHS OF NEW YORK CITY OR THE BROADER METROPOLITAN AREA. MORE THAN 700 STUDENTS ATTENDED OVER 190 CLASSES WEEKLY IN ADDITION TO PERFORMANCES AND EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS FOR MORE THAN 2,000 AUDIENCE MEMBERS AND SCHOOL GROUPS.

FOLK ARTS PROGRAM - TRAIN YOUNG PEOPLE TO IDENTIFY, DOCUMENT AND PRESENT THE TRADITION AND FOLK ARTISTS DISCOVERED IN THEIR FAMILIES, COMMUNITY, THE BOROUGH AND THE CITY.
