THE TAOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE REPRESENTS OVER 400 BUSINESSES IN TAOS COUNTY. THE CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS MADE UP OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION PLANS, COORDINATES, AND EXECUTES SEVERAL EVENTS DURING THE COURSE OF A YEAR INCLUDING MIX AND MEETS, VARIOUS FAIRS, EXPOS, AND GATHERINGS IN AN EFFORT TO ADVANCE THE COMMUNITY'S BUSINESS INTEREST AND SPUR ENTREPRENUEURIAL AND ECONOMIC GROWTH. DUE TO COVID, OPERATIONS WERE IN SOME INSTANCES CHANGED TO VIRTUAL AND/OR OUTDOOR EVENTS. THE 2020 CENSUS WAS ALSO A MAJOR ACTIVITY.
