THE TAHLEQUAH SPORTS LEAGUE SERVES AS A CENTRAL SOURCE OF FUNDS FOR LOCAL GOVERNED YOUTH SPORTS ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS. IN 2022, THE LEAGUE SERVED AROUND 1000 KIDS, 75% OF THEM BEING NATIVE AMERICAN. THE MISSION OF THE TAHLEQUAH SPORTS LEAGUE IS TO PROVIDE STRUCTURED PROGRAMS FOR KIDS IN THE TAHLEQUAH AREA SO THAT THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUTH SPORTS.
