THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO RAISE MONEY TO FUND RESEARCH TO FIND A CURE AND A THERAPY FOR CHILDREN WITH BPAN. BETA-PROPELLER PROTEIN- ASSOCIATED NEURODEGENERATION (BPAN) IS A GENETIC DISORDER THAT DAMAGES THE NERVOUS SYSTEM. IT IS A PROGRESSIVE DISEASE FOUND IN CHILDREN. THERE ARE ONLY 500 KNOWN CASES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE RESEARCH BEING DONE.

THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED SANFORD RESEARCH WITH A 15,000 GRANT FOR BPAN RESEARCH IN 2020. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO DONATED 70,000 TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN MEDICAL SCHOOL'S DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY AS PART OF AN OVERALL GIFT OF 140,000 PAID OVER TWO YEARS. THE DONATION IS TO BE USED TO FUND BPAN RESEARCH.
