OUR MISSION IS ELIMINATE LANGUAGE BARRIERS FROM HUMANITARIAN PROBLEMS AROUND THE WORLD. WE BELIEVE IT'S A HUMAN RIGHT TO BE UNDERSTOOD. NOBODY SHOULD BE DENIED SUPPORT BECAUSE OF THEIR LANGUAGE. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE LANGUAGE ACCESS TO 1 MILLION PEOPLE IN NEED - REFUGEES IMMIGRANTS HEALTH WORKERS LAWYERS TEACHERS ETC. - BY MOBILIZING 1 MILLION BILINGUAL VOLUNTEERS RIGHT FROM THEIR PHONES. TODAY WE HAVE THE WORLD'S LARGEST COMMUNITY OF VOLUNTEER TRANSLATORS AND INTERPRETERS AVAILABLE IN 60 LANGUAGES. WE PROVIDE COMMUNITY INTERPRETER TRAINING LANGUAGE JUSTICE CONSULTING AND DEVELOP PRODUCTS THAT SCALE VOLUNTEERISM AND HUMANITARIAN IMPACT BY ELIMINATING LANGUAGE BARRIERS.

OUR ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE ON-DEMAND TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION TO OVER 15,305 BENEFICIARIES REFUGEES AND HUMANITARIANS IN AN ARRAY OF DAY-TO-DAY AND CRITICAL NEEDS ON OUR PLATFORM. WE GREW OUR COMMUNITY OF VOLUNTEERS TO 32,844 THROUGH THE YEAR AND THEY HAVE NOW TRANSLATED OVER 1.9 MILLION WORDS FOR PEOPLE IN NEED. OUR SERVICE NOW SUPPORTS 140 LANGUAGES WITH AN AVERAGE CONNECTION TIME OF 100 SECONDS. WE ADDED 25 NONPROFIT PARTNERS AND INCREASED WEEKLY SESSIONS BY 5X WHILE IMPROVING CRITICAL FEATURES DURING THE PANDEMIC LIKE OUR HOTLINE FILTERS AND CONFERENCE CALLING.
