TO REMOVE LAND FROM THE SPECULATIVE MARKET IN PERPETUITY, PROVIDING ATTAINABLE ACCESS TO LAND, QUALITY HOUSING, SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND WOODLAND, COOPERATIVE COMMUNITIES AND COTTAGE INDUSTRIES. TO DEVELOP PRACTICES THAT STEWARD, PRESERVE, PROTECT AND HEAL THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT ITS LAND, AIR AND WATER. TO DEMONSTRATE THIS STEWARDSHIP OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND ATTAINABLE HOUSING BY PROVIDING INFORMATION, RESOURCES, REPLICABLE MODELS AND EXPERTISE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

CSCLT WAS AWARDED A $25,000 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GRANT TO FUND INITIATIVES THAT SIGNIFICANTLY INCLUDE THE VOICE OF THE POOR AND MARGINALIZED IN DEVELOPING NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING. CSCLT PROVIDES AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN ONE (1) UNIT SERVING TWO (2) PEOPLE AT THE ONE (1) PROPERTY IT OWNS. CSCLT HELD 3 DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & INCLUSION TRAINING EVENTS SERVING 7 BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND 2 AFFORDABLE HOUSING RESIDENTS. CSCLT OBJECTIVE IN 2021 & LONGER TERM GOAL, IS TO PROVIDE MORE OUTREACH & EDUCATION ON THE BENEFITS OF COMMUNITY LAND TRUST AS A VIABLE MODEL FOR SECURING AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS IN PERPETUITY AND TO HELP PROTECT, PRESERVE, & PRODUCE MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS.
