THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED TO UNDERSTAND AND PROMOTE POLICIES AND ACTIVITIES WHICH IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE WORKFORCE OF THE STATE OF WISCONSIN. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION HEREOF, THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, INCLUDING, FOR SUCH PURPOSES, THE MAKING OF DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, OR CORRESPONDING SECTION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE.

DISLOCATED WORKER PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP JOB SEEKERS ACCESS EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION INCLUDING CLASSES FOR CREDENTIALS OR SKILLS. TRAINING WHICH INCLUDES SUPERVISED PAID OR UNPAID WORK, OR PAID LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN THE WORKPLACE, AND SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING CLOTHING FOR INTERVIEWS, TOOLS, CAR REPAIRS, AND UNIFORM ASSISTANCE. CAREER SERVICES ARE ALSO PROVIDED WHICH INCLUDES JOB SEARCH, CAREER GUIDANCE AND DETERMINATION OF ELIGIBILITY AND SKILLS ASSESSMENTS.


YOUTH PROGRAMS FOR IN SCHOOL AND OUT OF SCHOOL YOUTH. THESE PROVIDE SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT IN WHICH YOUTH SPEND TIME WORKING AND ATTENDING TRAINING SESSIONS AND ARE EXPOSED TO VARIOUS SECTORS OF EMPLOYMENT. IN ADDITION, THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP JOB SEEKERS ACCESS EMPLOYMENT EDUCATION INCLUDING CLASSES FOR CREDENTIALS OR SKILLS. TRAINING WHICH INCLUDES SUPERVISED PAID OR UNPAID WORK, OR PAID LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN THE WORKPLACE, AND SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING CLOTHING FOR INTERVIEWS, TOOLS, CAR REPAIRS, AND UNIFORM ASSISTANCE.
