COMOTION IS A CONTEMPORARY DANCE PROJECT, PRODUCED AND SUPPORTED BY DANCE INITIATIVE, THAT STRIVES TO DEVELOP MULTIDIMENSIONAL WORKS AND EXPLORE CREATIVE BOUNDARIES THROUGH COLLABORATION. COMOTION CREATES REPERTOIRE THAT EDUCATES AND INSPIRES A PASSION FOR THE ART OF DANCE WHILE ALSO PROVIDING A TRANSFORMATIVE PERFORMING ARTS EXPERIENCE FOR PATRONS.
DANCE ASPEN ENRICHES THE ROARING FORK COMMUNITY THROUGH LOCALLY-BASED CURATIONS OF HIGH CALIBRE DANCE. DANCE INITIATIVE IS A FISCAL SPONSOR OF DANCE ASPEN.
DANCE INITIATIVE BRINGS A VARIETY OF WORLD-CLASS DANCE INTO SCHOOLS AND OTHER VENUES IN THE ROARING FORK VALLEY, CO THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS. DI HOPES TO INSPIRE, EDUCATE, AND SPARK NEW APPRECIATE FOR DANCE AMOUNG THE COMMUNITY.
