Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2023, THE CLINIC PROVIDED 3,000 ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENTS. ACUPUNCTURE IS OFFERED ALONG A PATIENT DETERMINED SLIDING SCALE ALLOWING ACUPUNCTURE TO BE AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TO A GREATER NUMBER OF PEOPLE. OUR PATIENTS USE ACUPUNTURE TO TREAT ACUTE HEALTH CONDITIONS SUCH AS ACUTE PAIN OR MENTAL STRESS AND TO MANAGE CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS SUCH AS CHRONIC PAIN, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION. IN 2023, WE CONTINUED TO OFFER MASSAGE/BODYWORK SERVICES AT MORE AFFORDABLE (BELOW MARKET) RATES TWO DAYS A WEEK. WE ALSO OFFERED CUPPING AS ONE OF OUR BODYWORK SERVICES ONE DAY A WEEK WHICH PATIENTS FOUND VERY HELPFUL IN MANAGING ACUTE AND CHRONIC PAIN. CUPPING THERAPY WAS OFFERED AT A MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE RATE COMPARED TO CLINICS SIMILAR TO OURS. THIS YEAR WE ALSO RESUMED IN PERSON CLINIC EVENTS AND HELD TWO ACUPUNCTURE SOUND BATH EVENTS AT WHICH PATIENTS COULD EXPERIENCE LIVE MUSIC FROM A SOUND THERAPIST DURING THEIR ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT.
