IN 2022, TURNER SYNDROME COLORADO CONTINUED TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AND PERSON-TO-PERSON SUPPORT TO GIRLS, WOMEN, AND FAMILIES LIVING WITH TURNER SYNDROME (TS). COVID CONTINUED TO IMPACT OUR ABILITY TO MEET WITH COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN PERSON, BUT WE WERE ABLE TO HOLD ZOOM EVENTS INCLUDING: PARTICIPATING AND EDUCATION SURROUNDING AN ANXIETY RESEARCH PROJECT MARCH 2022 MEET UP IN CITY PARK FOR FAMILIES IN AUGUST, WE HELD OUR ANNUAL POOL PARTY AT AN OUTDOORS VENUE IN PERSON TO GIVE FAMILIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET OTHERS AND FEEL CONNECTED. A RESOURCE FAIR AND COMMUNITY EVENT IN SEPTEMBER 2022 TS COLORADO CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE EXTRAORDINARY KIDS TURNER SYNDROME CLINIC AT CHILDRENS HOSPITAL CO. ALTHOUGH WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A PRESENCE ON SITE THIS YEAR DUE TO COVID, WE MAINTAINED COMMUNICATION WITH THE CLINIC TEAM, PROVIDED FAMILY SUPPORT TO NEW PATIENTS WHEN REQUESTED, AND HELD A TARGETED FUNDRAISER FOR THE CLINIC. IN ADDITION, TS COLORADO SUPPORTED RESEARCH ON TS BY PROMOTING THE INSIGHTS REGISTRY AND RECRUITING FAMILIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANXIETY RESEARCH PROJECT, WHICH TS COLORADO BOARD MEMBERS HELPED TO DEVELOP TS COLORADO BOARD MEMBERS MADE PERSONAL CONNECTIONS WITH FAMILIES THROUGH EMAILS AND RESPONDING TO SOCIAL MEDIA INQUIRIES. WE MAINTAIN AN ACTIVE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT TURNER SYNDROME AND CONNECT THE COMMUNITY, WITH 550 FOLLOWERS ON FACEBOOK. WE HAVE 211 COLORADO FAMILIES ON OUR EMAIL LIST, WHICH WE USE TO SEND NEWSLETTERS PERIODICALLY AND TO HIGHLIGHT EVENTS
