THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ENGAGE WITH THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT MIXED METHODS RESEARCH BY BRINGING TOGETHER DIVERSE COMMUNITIES OF SCHOLARS, STUDENTS, PRACTITIONERS, POLICYMAKERS, CITIZENS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS, WITH THE GOALS OF EXPANDING KNOWLEDGE AND PRODUCING SOCIAL BETTERMENT AND SOCIAL AND GLOBAL JUSTICE THROUGH ANNUAL CONFERENCES, QUARTERLY PUBLICATION OF THE JOURNAL OF MIXED METHODS RESEARCH, RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING SCHOLARS IN THE FIELD AND PROVIDING A WEBSITE FOR THE LATEST DEVELPMENTS ON CONFERENCES AND PUBLICATIONS AND TRAINING MATERIALS FOR NOVICE AND SEASONED RESEARCHERS.
