THE FORUM ALSO PROVIDES GENERAL PUBLIC INFORMATION REGARDING EMERGENCY RESPONSE ISSUES AND PROVIDES A PUBLIC AWARENESS TELEPHONE INFORMATION SYSTEM WHICH FACILITATES THE RAPID COMMUNICATION OF EMERGENCIES AND HIGH-PROFILE EVENTS IN THE PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY TO THE PUBLIC.
