MISSION WOLF IS A SOLAR POWERED NATURE CENTER THAT PROVIDES SANCTUARY FOR WOLVES AND HORSES, AND PROVIDES EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC TO PROMOTE WILDLIFE AND HABITAT CONSERVATION.

THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A SOLAR POWERED NATURE CTR AND MAINLY VOLUNTEER OPERATED SANCTUARY AND REFUGE FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 WOLVES AND 10 HORSES. WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MATERIALS TO OVER 10,000 VISITORS, CONDUCT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WITH WOLVES. VOLUNTEERS EXPERIENCE HANDS-ON EDUCATION, OUR AMBASSADOR WOLVES REACH THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. A MAINLY VOLUNTEER STAFF OPERATES AND OVERSESES THE REFUGE AND PRACTICES AND PROMOTES SUSTAINABILITY AND HABITAT CONSERVATION. WE ARE AN EDUCATIONAL WOLF SANCTUARY IN THE REMOTE COLORADO MOUNTAINS FOCUSED ON SUSTAINABILITY, OPERATE ON SOLAR POWER, AND BUILD WITH PRIMARILY RECYCLED MATERIALS. OUR COMMUNITY OF VOLUNTEERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE FROM AROUND THE WORLD. WE CONNECT PEOPLE WITH NATURE USING HANDS-ON EDUCATION THROUGH VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIPS AND PROGRAMS, WE INSPIRE INDIVIDUALS TO BECOME STEWARDS OF THE EARTH, WHILE PROVIDING A HOME FOR RESCUED WOLVES AND HORSES. WE PROMOTE HABITAT CONSERVATION.
