PROGRAMMING AND PRODUCTION EXPENSES CONSIST OF STAFF AND RELATED EXPENSES TO BROADCAST THREE DISTINCT FORMATS CPR NEWS AND KRCC, CPR CLASSICAL, AND INDIE 102.3, ON AIR 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK, AS WELL AS THREE DISTINCT WEBSITES, CPR.ORG, KRCC.ORG, AND DENVERITE.COM. BROADCAST RADIO AUDIENCE REACH WAS APPROXIMATELY 640,000 WEEKLY (NEILSEN FALL 2021/SPRING 2022). MONTHLY DIGITAL AUDIENCES INCLUDED 770,000 ONLINE VISITORS FOR CPR.ORG/KRCC.ORG, 331,000 VISITORS TO DENVERITE.COM, AND 226,000 STREAMING LISTENERS. IN ADDITION, PODCASTS PRODUCED BY COLORADO PUBLIC RADIO WERE DOWNLOADED MORE THAN 870,000 TIMES IN FY22, AND THERE WERE 74,000 SUBSCRIBERS TO CPR AND KRCC NEWSLETTERS.


BROADCASTING EXPENSES CONSIST OF STAFF AND RELATED EXPENSES TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE OF ALL TRANSMISSION SITES AND TECHNICAL SYSTEMS THAT SUPPORT A STATEWIDE NETWORK OF 52 TRANSMITTERS AND TRANSLATORS.
