THE ALS ASSOCIATION PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE LOCAL PROGRAMS AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO THE ALS COMMUNITY IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION IN AN EFFORT TO TREAT AND CURE THE DISEASE THROUGH THEIR GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED RESEARCH PROGRAM. SERVICES INCLUDE MULTI-DISCIPLINARY CERTIFIED CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE, SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS; LOANED DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT; LOANED AUGMENTATIVE SPEECH COMMUNICATION PROGRAM; INFORMATION, REFERRALS; RESOURCES, GRANTS TO SUPPORT IN-HOME HEALTH SERVICES; STATE AND FEDERAL PUBLIC POLICY AND PATIENT ADVOCACY.
