TO UNITE THROUGH OUR MEMBERSHIP THOSE PEOPLE OR GROUPS OF PEOPLE WITH A COMMON INTEREST IN DEVELOPING AND IMPROVING THE ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL INTEREST OF THE FARMER.

WOMEN'S COMMITTEE PROGRAM:JONES COUNTY CONDUCTED SEVERAL PROGRAMS TO EDUCATE AND PROMOTE AGRICULTURE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. EVENTS INCLUDED AG IN THE CLASSROOM COLORING CONTEST AND FINANCIAL AND FOOD SUPPORT FOR THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE. LADIES NIGHT OUT IS ATTENDED BY 40 MEMBERS. THIS AG PROMOTION EVENT FOCUSED ON THE FARM FAMILIES OF MS AND THE ORGANIZATION'S PARTICIPATION IN THE FOOD CHECK OFF DAY.


SAFETY PROGRAMS: JONES COUNTY FARM BUREAU VOLUNTEER LEADERS HOSTED FIRE SAFETY, ATV, CPR, CHAINSAW, FARM/SHOP AND FATAL VISION CLASSES WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITY. THESE CLINICS REACHED HUNDREDS OF INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY


COMMODITY MEETINGS:JONES COUNTY FARM BUREAU ENCOURAGES VOLUNTEER MEMBERS TO ATTEND LEADERSHIP, COMMODITY, CONVENTIONS AND LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCES THAT HELP EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. AT THESE MEETING VOLUNTEERS DISCUSS ISSUES THAT HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY.
