THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH BOTH LEGISLATIVE & REGULATORY MONITORING COMMUNICATIONS WITH MEMBERS & PUBLIC AWARENESS PROGRAMS ABOUT FARMING & RURAL LIFE & PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THE AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY. VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN THE SPONSORSHIP OF MEET THE CANDIDATE ACTIVITIES & YEARLY POLICY MEETINGS WITH THEIR LEGISLATORS TO EDUCATE THEM ABOUT AG POLICY & HOW THE INDUSTRY IS IMPACTED BY LAWMAKERS.

A HIGHLY DEVELOPED COMMITTEE STRUCTURE PROVIDES LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS THROUGH MEETINGS, REGULAR COMMUNICATIONS, AND AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THE DAVIDSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU SUPPORTS YOUTH AG ORGANIZATIONS BOTH FINANCIALLY AND WITH VOLUNTEER HOURS. THE ORGANIZATION IS A PRIMARY SPONSOR OF THE DAVIDSON COUNTY 4H ORGANIZATION. BOARD MEMBERS ASSIST WITH LOCAL CLUB MEETINGS & SERVE AS JUDGES FOR CONTESTS. THE FB DONATED MONEY FOR AWARDS & FOR NEEDED SUPPLIES. DAVIDSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU SUPPORTS THE FFA WITH DONATIONS AT THE STATE & NATIONAL LEVELS.
