COMMODITY MEETINGS:WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU ENCOURAGES VOLUNTEER MEMBERS TO ATTEND LEADERSHIP, COMMODITY, CONVENTIONS AND LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCES THAT HELP EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION. AT THESE MEETING VOLUNTEERS DISCUSS ISSUES THAT HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY.


WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.


IN ORDER TO PROTECT & PROMOTE THE AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY THE WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU THROUGH ITS STRUCTURE OF VOLUNTEER LEADERS SUPPORTS PUBLIC POLICY EFFORTS AT THE LOCAL, STATE AND NATIONAL LEVEL. VOLUNTEER MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN YEARLY MEETINGS WITH LOCAL LEGISLATURES TO EDUCATE THEM ABOUT AGRICULTURAL POLICY.
