THE GAFP PROVIDES RESOURCES FOR ITS MEMBERS AND OTHER PRIMARY CARE CLINICIANS TO RECEIVE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION THROUGHOUT THE YEAR VIA ONLINE EDUCATION, IN-PERSON CONFERENCES, AND WEBINARS. THE GAFP FOCUSES ON EDUCATION AREAS BASED ON MEMBER NEEDS ASSESSMENTS AND OTHER INDICATORS OF CLINICAL KNOWLEDGE GAPS.
ADVOCACY - THE GAFP ADVOCATES AT THE STATE LEVEL ON BEHALF OF OUR MEMBERS AND THEIR PATIENTS. THE GAFP STRIVES TO BE AT THE CENTER OF DEBATE AND DISCUSSION ON STATE HEALTH POLICY ISSUES.
