THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO EDUCATE MEMBERS ON NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF OPTOMETRY AND HELP MEMBERS MEET CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS TO MAINTAIN THEIR LICENSES. THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE WHICH ENABLES MEMBERS TO HEAR SPEAKERS CONCERNED WITH THE FIELD OF OPTOMETRY AND TO VIEW EXHIBITS OF GOODS AND SERVICES PERTAINING TO THEIR PROFESSION. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES VARIOUS BENEFITS AND SERVICES TO ITS MEMBERS INCLUDING THE PROMOTION OF THE PROFESSION IN THE LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY PROCESSES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PRODUCES A NEWSLETTER WHICH FEATURES ITEMS RELATED TO THE PROFESSION AND ITS MEMBERS.
